Late in 2015 and early 2016, there were many articles stating that 2016 would be the year for mobile advertising. Many of these articles seemed so optimistic. People may have naturally had doubts about whether it was possible that the growth could live up to the expectations.
As it turns out, mobile advertising not only lived up to these projections but exceeded them in some cases. Although the final numbers are not in, reports in September had the growth rate in 2016 for mobile ad spending at an amazing 45%. The total dollar amount was $46 billion. In fact, Zenith, a unit of Publicis Groupe S.A., now expects mobile advertising to overtake desktop advertising next year instead of in 2018. Spending is estimated to be over $99 billion.
But don’t fret. If you haven’t included mobile in your advertising mix, it’s not too late. There are still plenty of seats left on the train, and we at Success can be your conductor.
