CHALLENGE​

Their primary challenge was to hire 500+ Auto Body Technicians and Collision Estimators across the US to meet their growing needs. With the tremendous competition for experienced talent in both of their critical areas at an all-time high nationally, they reached out to the team at SCG for help to solve this challenge.

SOLUTION​

Crash Champions had a team of eight recruiters. They were only utilizing 1 job board to advertise their vacancies. They were also challenged with the implementation of a new ATS. To diversify the response and talent pool of qualified applicants, we recommended a programmatic solution as well as Google Ad campaigns to boost awareness of Crash Champions as a premier employer and fill the pipelines for the respective roles. ​

The campaign generated awareness – Google Ads achieved 19% CTA (click to apply) – a ratio that far exceeded expectations, within the first three months.​

The programmatic solution was revised to address challenges of the long form apply with their ATS by adding a short form with primary qualifications to further generate responses.  ​

We also created two landing pages to support the Auto Body Technician and Collision Estimator roles that capture the unique opportunities at Crash Champions and enable quick apply to a CRM.​

RESULTS​

The combination of programmatic and Google Ads has achieved our initial goals of promoting the Crash Champions name to a new marketplace and attracting qualified candidates. ​

In January 2024, the programmatic solution had 5,535 clicks and 156 clicks to apply. In July, the programmatic solution generated 9,940 clicks with 585 applications with no drop off. ​

The campaign is still ongoing and will be expanded again with additional solutions for the last quarter of 2024.
